I’m currently battling a nasty cold. I jinxed myself last week by proclaiming, “It’s been over a year since I’ve had a cold! This winter has been great so far.” Two days later, I woke up with a sore throat and a stuffy nose. Go figure.
Now seems as good a time as any to share my new favorite DIY healthy drink concoction: Apple Cider Vinegar Tea. I think it’s eased my cold symptoms a bit. This drink has also helped balance the acidity of my stomach. When I consume Apple Cider Vinegar Tea on a daily basis I don’t experience nearly as much acid reflux, burping or discomfort.
The ingredients for this “tea” are pretty simple. Despite the apple cider vinegar smelling like a stinky foot, the taste of the drink is actually quite enjoyable! I’ve listed the recipe below along with the health benefits of each ingredient. Give it a try and let me know what you think!
Apple Cider Vinegar Tea
– 8 oz Hot Water
– 1-2 Tbsp Organic Raw Apple Cider Vinegar

– Dash of Cinnamon
*Optional additions to try: fresh ginger and/or lemon juice.
